Chicago Tribune Top Places to Work 2020 and 2021 banner

Back to back success!

For the second consecutive year, Trustmark was selected as a Chicago Tribune Top Workplace, signifying Trustmark as one of the best places to work in Chicago. Companies are selected based on results of an anonymous survey of Chicago area associates that measures 15 drivers of engaged culture such as connection, alignment and execution.

When asked to pick a word to describe Trustmark’s culture, associates chose caring nearly double the number of times as any other word.

“We talk about our caring culture and it is gratifying to see it shine through in the survey comments and results,” said Kevin Slawin, President and CEO. “To win two years in a row speaks to sustained excellence and this is an achievement that everyone at Trustmark should be proud of.”

Another key result from the survey is that associates feel supported by their supervisors and managers. Trustmark’s core values and the opportunity to do meaningful work were also repeatedly cited. Associates also noted feeling informed and Trustmark’s increased focus on diversity and inclusion.

“This recognition is worth celebrating and a tribute to our people and the culture we have built at Trustmark,” said Kristin Zelkowitz, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We continue to use associate feedback to further enhance the employment experience. This award helps us stand out as a company talented people want to join and as a place where associates can develop and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers.”
