Diversity & Inclusion

Trustmark is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

To be clear about where we stand, our beliefs and our values, Trustmark has articulated a brief D&I statement.

We know that diverse and inclusive companies perform better for a number of reasons, including the ability to attract talented people, more creative problem solving, deeper customer insights and better decision-making. Our statement, however, derives from our mission and values and focuses on the moral, rather than the business, imperatives that uphold our beliefs.

We want everyone to experience the best of our culture.

What We Stand For

Trustmark’s mission is to improve wellbeing – for everyone. It is a mission grounded in a belief in equality and born from our caring culture. It is a mission we can only realize by building trust. Trust established by ensuring associates feel respected, valued and heard. Trust won through our commitment to welcoming people, no matter their background, identity or experience, to a workplace where they feel safe being their whole, authentic selves. A workplace, made up of diverse, empowered individuals, that allows great ideas to thrive and enables us to bring the best to our colleagues, clients and communities.

To help ensure we continue to progress with input from voices across Trustmark, the company has a Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council. That council is focused primarily on three areas:

  • Workforce – Focus on recruiting, developing and advancing high performing individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

  • Workplace – Focus on growing a caring, inclusive and engaging culture resulting in a best-in-class work environment.

  • Marketplace – Focus on external presence, community engagement and fostering valued partnerships with diverse suppliers.
