COVID-19 FAQs for Policy Owners

Like many others, Trustmark is monitoring the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) closely while focusing on two priorities: the safety of our associates and serving our customers. We want to let you know of steps we’re taking to support our policy owners during this difficult time:
  • Trustmark provided at least a 90-day grace period for premium payments to accommodate policy owners going through challenging times. As we approach the three month (90-day) mark, Trustmark is now working to ensure adequate notices are sent to policy owners who are in danger of lapsing, offering the opportunity to pay the necessary premium. 
  • Easy reinstatement option if you have been furloughed or temporarily laid off and request reinstatement before September 1, 2020.
  • An additional one-time $250 Jump-Start benefit if you can’t work due to contracting COVID-19 and qualify for disability benefits before December 31, 2020.
