Effective Jan. 1, 2023, seasonal and non-seasonal vaccines* received through the CVS Caremark retail pharmacy network will be paid in full at the pharmacy counter by your employer-sponsored health benefit plan. The CVS Caremark retail pharmacy network includes more than 68,000 participating pharmacies nationwide, including independent pharmacies, chain pharmacies, and 9,600 CVS Pharmacy locations.
What does this mean for you?
When you and your covered dependents get the vaccines you need, there won’t be any costs at the pharmacy and you won’t need to submit paperwork for reimbursement.
Eligible vaccinations received at your doctor’s office, an urgent care clinic or a MinuteClinic® will continue to be covered by your medical plan with no upfront costs.
