As the coronavirus continues to spread, we are taking a proactive approach to making sure employers sponsoring a self-funded group health benefit plan administered by Star Marketing and Administration, Inc., and their covered employees receive the best support possible. The exceptional, personal service that you have come to know and expect from us will continue.
  • Teladoc™ Health provides access to a U.S. board-certified doctor for nonemergency general medical care. Additionally, adults 18 and older have access to mental health services for confidential counseling. Teladoc offers convenient phone, video or mobile app visits.* 
  • Members of health benefit plans administered by Star Marketing and Administration, Inc., now have a $0 copay for Teladoc services due to the pandemic.
  • Telemedicine services provided by non-Teladoc doctors, such as your primary care physician, are now covered under your employer-sponsored health benefit plan and are processed as an in-person physician office visit in accordance with your plan's provisions. Copays or deductibles will apply, if applicable.

Remember telemedicine!

Through Teladoc, members and their covered dependents have access to U.S. board-certified doctors for nonemergency general medical care. Additionally, adults 18 and older have access to mental health services for confidential counseling. Teladoc offers convenient phone, video or mobile app visits.*

Members of health benefit plans administered by Star Marketing and Administration, Inc., now have a $0 copay for Teladoc services due to the pandemic.

All Teladoc general medical consults are now being screened for COVID‐19 risk factors according to CDC guidelines. Teladoc has activated a Coronavirus Response Team and is ready to support an increase in visit volume. 

Telemedicine services provided by non-Teladoc doctors, such as your primary care physician, are now covered under your employer-sponsored health benefit plan and are processed as an in-person physician office visit in accordance with your plan's provisions. Copays or deductibles will apply, if applicable.
