COVID-19 Preparedness and Prevention Plan

We're Here to Help

Trustmark is open and maintaining normal business operations, but we have implemented precautionary steps to prevent infections and to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Our COVID-19 Precautions

Business Continuity and Preparedness

Trustmark’s comprehensive Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan, which includes a specific Pandemic plan, has been implemented. It includes a widespread work-from-home program, social distancing for those few associates still working in our offices, and scenario planning and development of related protocols and procedures.

For those few associates who are working in our physical offices, we have taken steps to ensure that hard surfaces are regularly sanitized and workspaces are at least six feet apart, among other precautionary measures.

Our technology staff are included in the operational resiliency actions mentioned above. This ensures our data centers and system administration needs continue as part of our standard operating controls, and IT staff are positioned to respond to any technical problems, if necessary.

Trustmark Health Benefits’ Offices

As a national company, Trustmark Health Benefits has offices all over the country. As states where we have physical offices continue to announce and update their individual orders and plans, we will provide information about affected office on this page so you always have the latest information.

We are committed to supporting community efforts to minimize the spread of COVID-19 while still providing you with the caring, responsive service you expect.

Limited Travel and Office Visitors

We have limited business travel by Trustmark associates to essential business travel only. This decision is intended to help safeguard our people, their families, our customers and others, and is in effect until further notice.

In addition to our restrictions on travel, we have observed that many of our customers are also restricting travel and limiting in-person meetings with vendors. We encourage everyone to leverage the range of technologies and collaboration tools available for engaging in virtual meetings, in lieu of traveling for in-person meetings, where that makes sense.

We have also restricted all non-essential visits and meetings at Trustmark locations until further notice to safeguard our associates, vendors and customers.
